EDIT: I forgot to add why I mentioned Tech in my 3 topic titles. I had to replace my old Canoscan n650u scanner this week. Not becuase it doesn't work or broken, but because there are no 64 bit drivers for Win7 or OSX. *sniff* That scanner has been my mainstay for 6 years and I hate to replace it. Which begs the question. Is there any piece of harware you've had for so long that has worked so well that you were willing to replace newer hardware or software just to keep using it?
So drawing that Trekcast piece really helped me dive back into the artcycle. And I have to admit a touch of gratefulness they mentioned it on their show. I have nothing but respect for them before I drew the image (and the fact that they talked to Chase Masterson...rowr!) and to hear such great comments on the piece just raises my respect for them more. Plus one of these days I'm going to have to find out how to make a Warp Core Breach just so see how much I can't hold my liquor
There's never a good time to lose income. And certainly not now. The economy sucks Jabba balls. And being self employed can be a blessing and a curse. Losing 4 Barnes and Nobles stores is exactly that curse. They were happy with the work but sadly with the economy diggin into things they have to cut somewhere. Sad things its about 3.5g's of a loss anually. So time to circle the wagons, dig in, and buy those 30 packs of Ramen noodles. If you close your eyes and add some garlic it's almost like you're in Olive Garden
